The Lincoln Suites is a superior first class hotel, located in the historic heart of downtown Washington. The hotel is located near the National Geographic Society, George Washington University, Washington Post, White House, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Institution, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Constitution Gardens and Lincoln Memorial. The difference is obvious from the moment guests see the eye-catching entrance from blocks away. A lobby that is striking in its bold colors and whimsical with its furnishings. The hotel boasts a staff that is so welcoming that the guests want to move in and stay awhile. Since 1997 the hotel has been upgrading and polishing. First, and most important, the hotel overhauled the guest rooms, with new carpeting, wall coverings and furniture. Next were the new elevators.
Last year the hotel added Mackey's, an authentic Irish Pub to the neighborhood. This year the finishing touch, the hotel just finished a major renovation to the entrance, lobby and front desk. The hotel promises to make an unforgettable destination for both business and pleasure travelers alike. The hotel is minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment and is within two blocks of two metro stations.
